CRUMP'S BOXING DAY BLAST

Three-time world champion Jason Crump signed off 2011 in style with a 15-point maximum in the Boxing Day Speedway Showdown at Australian track Kurri Kurri.
The nation’s most successful rider saw off a strong field, which included Aussie champion Chris Holder, who suffered his sole defeat to Crump on his way to 14 points.
Lakeside star Davey Watt took third place on countback with 12, racking up four heat wins to pip youngster Taylor Poole, who managed an impressive two victories and three second places.
Premier League Riders champion Sam Masters notched up eight, along with former Coventry and Glasgow rider Nick Morris. Double World Under-21 champion Darcy Ward was initially set to take part the meeting, but withdrew.
