Danish international Nicolai Klindt will do his bit to help injured speedway riders when he appears in the Ben Fund Bonanza at Birmingham on Sunday, March 11.

The Wolves star, who is returning to Monmore after a season on loan at Elite League rivals Swindon, makes his debut in the event which raises vital cash for the Speedway Riders’ Benevolent Fund.

Klindt appears alongside Denmark’s Grand Prix quartet Nicki Pedersen, Kenneth Bjerre, Bjarne Pedersen and Hans Andersen, along with ex-SGP regulars Niels-Kristian Iversen and Lee Richardson.

Elite League Riders champion Rory Schlein, Aussie international Adam Shields, Team GB star Danny King and Dudley racer Adam Roynon are also confirmed starters.

Klindt is pleased to be getting his season underway so early and doing his bit for the SRBF in the process. He said: “I’m really looking forward to the new season and it’s nice for me to ride in this meeting which is the first action of the year anywhere.

“It means I will be in a competitive event but also I will be supporting a great cause and putting something back into the sport.”
