BROTHERS EYE ELITE RIDE

Polish brothers Przemyslaw and Piotr Pawlicki are pondering a British Elite League return this May, despite a season with Coventry plagued by absences in 2011.
The Bees’ play-off hopes floundered as Przemyslaw suffered a procession of crashes while racing for Polish Second Division side Pila. Meanwhile, Piotr’s season was ended when he broke his wrist in the last round of the World Under-21 Final at Gniezno in October.
Ex-Coventry boss Alun Rossiter made no secret of his concern that the talented pair were racing in the Polish third tier and putting themselves at greater risk of injury.
The Pawlicki brothers have penned deals with Leszno in the Ekstraliga for 2012. They will also race for Piraterna again in the Swedish Elitserien after lifting the title with the Motala team in 2011. But they want to add as many meetings as possible to their diary and are interested in a return to Britain.
"We are in talks with several clubs. We are still wondering whether or not to go to England early in the season."

Przemyslaw told Sportowefakty.pl: “We are in talks with several clubs. We are still wondering whether or not to go to England early in the season.
"We are thinking of adjusting fully to the Leszno track in Poland first. And it is possible that we will start to race in England a little later, maybe at the end of or mid-May.”
He added: "For two years we have raced in a few leagues. For us, the more you ride, the better because we have a greater chance to get into good form. We are thinking about the English league. We want to make the most of the season and ride as much as possible.
"We are young riders, so we need to be competing regularly, as long as we don’t get injured.”
Piotr shares his elder brother’s desire to race in Britain. The Polish Under-21 champion said: "I have a similar opinion on this to my brother. I’m thinking about the English league. For us, riding and gaining experience is very important.”
