NKI KNOCKING ON SGP DOOR

Danish hotshot Niels-Kristian Iversen cruised into the GP Challenge with a sublime victory in his SGP qualification semi-final at Vojens.
The two-time FIM Monster Energy Speedway World Cup winner rocketed to 14 points, with only runner-up Michael Jepsen Jensen getting the better of him when they met in heat 14.
MJJ bagged 12 to join his Gorzow team mate in the GP Challenge at Gorican on September 29.
A determined Davey Watt also made it through and won a run-off for third place with Polish international Grzegorz Walasek after they tied on 11 points.
And Adrian Miedzinski snatched the final qualification berth after winning heat 19 to force a head-to-head with Danish teenager Mikkel B Jensen, who also scored 10 points.
The Torun star triumphed and Mikkel B missed out on a trip to Croatia.
Sweden’s Dennis Andersson missed out on nine points, while Swedish SGP finalist Tomas H Jonasson fell short on eight. Leszno wild card Przemyslaw Pawlicki and Renat Gafurov scored seven.
