VACULIK GETS ITALIAN JOB

Thursday 2nd August 2012, 15:13
Slovak star Martin Vaculik will make his third straight World Championship appearance at Terenzano after being called up to replace Jaroslaw Hampel in the FIM Fogo Italian Grand Prix on August 11.
The Polish international is still recovering from the broken leg he suffered at the FIM Dansk Metal Danish SGP in Copenhagen on June 9.
Vaculik, who finished fourth in last year’s GP Challenge at Vetlanda to qualify as first reserve, made his Grand Prix bow in Gorzow with a sensational victory on June 23.
He missed out on the Croatian SGP semis on countback last Saturday, despite bagging eight points.
So he will be keen to get back into the business end of the action in north eastern Italy.
