EMIL AN INDIAN FOR 2013

Thursday 11th October 2012, 13:49
Russian racer Emil Sayfutdinov has left new Swedish champions Vetlanda to link up with Indianerna for 2013.
The Salavat-born star played a huge role in his side wrestling the Elitserien crown back from Piraterna this term. But the rider made no secret of the fact he was struggling to get used to the huge Vetlanda track and will hope to enjoy better fortunes at Kumla.
Sayfutdinov, who finished fifth in the World Championship, leaves Vetlanda on good terms after completing his first full Swedish season. According to a statement on the champions’ official website, both parties “separated as friends.”
The 22-year-old joins SGP rival Antonio Lindback and Niels-Kristian Iversen in Kumla, as well as former Grand Prix regular Piotr Protasiewicz, Joonas Kylmakorpi and Mathias Thornblom.
