Danish starlet Michael Jepsen Jensen looks to strengthen his position at the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship summit in Pardubice this afternoon.

The FIM Dansk Metal Nordic SGP winner, who has 51 points, has won the last two rounds in Coventry and Tarnow, but has just a four-point advantage over Torun SGP wild card Maciej Janowski, who has 47.

With third-placed Przemyslaw Pawlicki out for the season with a broken leg, Mikkel B Jensen in fourth on 40 is their nearest rival. But it will take a spectacular end to the series for him to overhaul Jepsen Jensen over the final three meetings.

The line-up has been decimated by injuries as Patryk Dudek, Bartosz Zmarzlik, Tobiasz Musielak, Piotr Pawlicki and Ritchie Worrall are also sidelined for the rest of the season.

Following the Pardubice round, the series moves out of Europe as the final two meetings take place at Argentine venue Bahia Blanca on November 3 and 10.
