Holstebro legend Bjarne Pedersen extended his contract with the Danish Super League side into 2013 and promptly set his sights on the title.
The former SGP star did his speedway apprenticeship at the club and has raced there on and off for much of the past two decades.
He is joined in their colours by the likes of Czech international Ales Dryml, plus Ukrainian hotshots Aleksandr Loktaev and Andrey Karpov.
Pedersen is determined to bring the title to Holstebro after winning championships in Britain, Poland and Sweden. He told his official website: “I think the club has developed well in a sporting sense, and there are a lot of positives off the track too.
"It would be a dream to win the Danish league with Holstebro. I have won some championships in England, Poland and Sweden, so the same must happen with Holstebro now."

“The redevelopment of the stadium has meant that this year we set a record attendance of approximately 2,700 spectators, and we are the club that has had most spectators throughout the season.
“I would like to remain a part of this development. I have great expectations for Holstebro and the 2013 season.
“In 2012 we were at the forefront in the first half of the season, but we got pulled down in the last five or six matches and ended up fourth. Nevertheless, I think the club has done well the last couple of seasons with a silver medal in 2011 and a fourth place this year.
“It is of course an honour to continue as team captain and head my childhood club, and I hope I can contribute with a lot of experience to the younger riders.
