Polish international Przemyslaw Pawlicki is on his way back to the British Elite League, according to the Bournemouth Daily Echo.
The Leszno star, who rides with world champion Chris Holder and Maciej Janowski at Swedish Elitserien side Piraterna, is reportedly one of up to three changes the Dorset side hopes to make.
Poole are currently without No.1 Darcy Ward, who faces another five weeks out with a broken shoulder. There are also concerns over the form of riders like Robert Miskowiak and Dawid Stachyra.
Despite a 50-39 victory for Pirates away to King’s Lynn, who finished the meeting with just five fit riders, Poole owner Matt Ford is keen to strengthen his one-to-seven following a rotten run of results.
Although he confirmed bids for SGP stars Emil Sayfutdinov and Antonio Lindback failed, his asset base boasts the likes of Leon Madsen, Tomas H Jonasson and Grzegorz Walasek. Pawlicki’s younger brother Piotr could also be a potential signing.
