10 / 06 / 2018, 14:00

Michael Jepsen Jensen has been unveiled as this year’s Danish FIM Speedway Grand Prix wild card.

The 26-year-old dons the iconic No.16 race jacket at the CASA Arena in Horsens on June 30.

Jepsen Jensen starred in Denmark’s charge to fourth place at the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Final in Wroclaw this weekend, scoring 12 points on day one and all 15 of their points on day two.

MJJ is best known for his incredible 2012 season which saw him win the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup with Denmark, the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship and the Nordic SGP at Vojens.

He joins triple world champion Nicki Pedersen in Denmark’s biggest speedway event.

Also flying the Danish flag in the meeting are track reserves Mikkel Michelsen and Mikkel Bech Jensen – two former Danish SGP wild cards with no shortage of experience at the highest level.

The referee in Horsens is Craig Ackroyd of Great Britain.

Tickets for the Danish SGP are still available online. Click here to book now: http://bit.ly/2Lx4qui.
