Polish international Krzysztof Kasprzak can’t wait to join forces with Grand Prix star Tomasz Gollob at Gorzow next year.

The Leszno-born racer put an end to two miserable years at Tarnow after the Bydgoszcz-born legend called on the Gorzow management to bring KK to the Edward Jancarz Stadium.

The pair have won four Speedway World Cup gold medals together in 2005, 2007, 2009 and this year.

Gollob also famously clinched the 2009 SWC title by winning heat 25 using Kasprzak’s bike after enduring a catastrophic evening on his own machinery in the final at Leszno.

Kasprzak was suspended from competing outside of Poland twice this year by Tarnow, who were far from happy with the rider’s domestic form.

But the former SGP regular hopes to put a tough 2011 behind him and is looking forward to teaming up with Gollob at a club for the first time.

He said: “I am glad that I could be at Gorzow. I hope that I can win a medal with the team.

“I have to say thank you to Tomasz Gollob for telling President Komarnicki about me. I promise the fans, sponsors and people at the club that I will do everything to ensure they are satisfied with my results.

“The last two seasons have been very difficult for me, but it is already in the past. I have always wanted to ride with Tomasz, and I think everyone will create a good atmosphere in the team.”
