FREDDIE FIXED UP IN POLAND

Monday 19th December 2011, 11:47

Swedish star Freddie Lindgren has been revealed as Wroclaw’s Grand Prix rider while Kenneth Bjerre faces a year in the wilderness in 2012.

The Orebro-born man links up with his Wolverhampton team mate Tai Woffinden at the Olympic Stadium, as the Team Great Britain international makes the step up from the Polish First Division.

But Bjerre brothers Kenneth and Lasse have been left in limbo in Poland having been unable to reach an agreement over wages.

This will come as a financial hammer blow to both men and seems set to cost them the chance to test themselves in the world’s most competitive domestic league.

Ekstraliga teams are limited to just one SGP regular each for next year and Czestochowa is the only club yet to recruit one.

But the Lions look set to sign British star Chris Harris following his exit from Rzeszow.

Polish racer Tomasz Jedrzejak captains Wroclaw and he is joined by former SGP regular Sebastian Ulamek, who has put an end to his troubled spell at Tarnow.

Danish World Cup racer Nicolai Klindt is also among the seniors, and Swedish prospect Dennis Andersson returns for another season. Polish youngsters Patryk Malitowski, Patryk Kociemba and Mateusz Gradka serve as the club’s juniors.
