Rune Holta achieved his highest finish (fourth) in last season's world championship and in the process won a Grand Prix, the Scandinavian round in Malilla, for the second time. His first win, in 2008, also came on Swedish soil in Gothenburg. Hard riding Norwegian born racer who now has a Polish passport and licence and he helped his adopted country win the FIM Speedway World Cup in Denmark. Often under-rated by the fans but never by his opponents who know that Holta is someone who never knows when he is beaten.
