Former Cardiff winner Chris Harris remains determined to realise his World Championship dream as he goes for Mitas British FIM Speedway Grand Prix glory at the Millennium Stadium next Saturday.
The Cornishman thrust himself into the SGP spotlight when he charged past speedway legends Greg Hancock, Jason Crump and Leigh Adams to top the rostrum in the Welsh capital in 2007.
I still want to be in the Grand Prix and I still have the ambition to be world champion.

Bomber has been battling to add to that victory ever since and is currently 15th in the World Championship on 20 points.
While he is still searching for his first SGP semi-final of 2014, he is confident Cardiff can bring out the best in him again as he bids to shine at the scene of his greatest moment on two wheels.
He said: “I’ll be lifted for Cardiff. It’s a tough old season, but we’ll keep battling until the end.
“I still want to be in the Grand Prix and I still have the ambition to be world champion. What others may think is irrelevant. I know what I can and can’t do and I know I can ride at this level.
“I’ve just got to get the machinery right underneath me and I’ll be fine. I’m a battler and I won’t give in yet.
“My reactions at the tapes were better in Copenhagen. We were trying things. I was just struggling with straight-line speed.
“We’ll come back. We’ll keep working with the tuners and we’ll see what the British SGP brings.”
