2015 SGP CALENDAR CONFIRMED

The 2015 FIM Speedway Grand Prix calendar has been finalised, and it features four indoor stadiums, four capital cities and three new venues

The 2015 FIM Speedway Grand Prix calendar has been finalised, and it features four indoor stadiums, four capital cities and three new venues.

The series opens with the Lotto Warsaw FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland at the superb Stadion Narodowy on April 18, featuring Polish legend Tomasz Gollob, who returns to the SGP as the event’s wild card.

The action moves to Tampere for the Finnish SGP on May 16, before Prague's Marketa Stadium hosts its record 19th Czech SGP on May 23.

The SGP series pauses in June for the 2015 Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup. Dates and venues will be confirmed in due course.

The series returns with the sport's flagship event - the British FIM Speedway Grand Prix at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on July 4.

The Latvian SGP takes place in Daugavpils on July 18, before the Swedish SGP comes to Malilla on July 25.

The Kjærgaard Danish SGP debuts in Horsens on August 8, before the Gorzow SGP of Poland is staged on August 29.

The Slovenian SGP returns to the calendar after a year's absence on September 12, before the TEGERA® Stockholm SGP takes place in the Swedish capital on September 26.

The final European event is the Torun SGP of Poland on October 3, before the sport's biggest stars go Down Under for the blockbuster finale - the Australian SGP at Melbourne's Etihad Stadium on October 24.

July 18: Latvian FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Daugavpils, Latvia

July 25: Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Malilla, Sweden

August 8: Kjærgaard Danish FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Horsens, Denmark

August 29: Gorzow FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland, Gorzow, Poland

September 12: Slovenian FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Krsko, Slovenia

September 26: TEGERA®Stockholm FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Stockholm, Sweden

October 3: Torun FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Torun, Poland

October 24: Australian FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Melbourne, Australia

08 June: Event 2

11 June: Race Off

13 June: Final
