Brady Kurtz makes his Swedish Elitserien debut with Vetlanda next season after being recommended by Jason Crump.

Australian shooting star Brady Kurtz makes his Swedish Elitserien debut with Vetlanda next season after being recommended by Jason Crump.

The Poole star impressed in the British Elite League this term, helping Pirates snatch an unlikely play-off place. He also finished fifth in the FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship.

Crump remains a legend at Vetlanda after racing eight seasons with the club, and boss Mikael Wirebrand says the triple world champion put in a good word for the 2016 Aussie champion.

He told the club’s official website: "I've followed him in the World Under-21 series and also followed his results in the second half of the season.

“In addition, I have had talks with Jason Crump, and Jason has recommended him, and also recommended Brady sign with the club. He is a real racer who can be good on the big tracks, but he is also technically talented.”
