Norrbil named as title sponsor for 2019 Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Hallstavik.

Swedish car dealership Norrbil remains as title sponsor of this year’s Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Hallstavik on July 6.

The Roslagen-based company has extended its involvement in one of Scandinavia’s biggest nights of motorsport after serving as title sponsor for Hallstavik’s first ever World Championship event last summer.

The meeting saw Poland’s Maciej Janowski top the podium with Swedish hero Freddie Lindgren powering to second place and another huge night of racing is expected at the HZ Bygg Arena in July.

Based in Roslagen since 1970, Norrbil has 55 employees and sells approximately 3,000 cars a year, new and used, working with Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi.

BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen is pleased to see Norrbil continue to play their part in the series.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Norrbil back as Swedish SGP title sponsor for 2019.

“Our first event in Hallstavik was a real success, with fantastic racing in front of a great crowd at a stadium which looks every inch a World Championship venue following years of hard work by the Rospiggarna club.

“I’m glad Norrbil remains on board and with their support, the Norrbil Swedish SGP will go from strength to strength.”

Norrbil managing director Sven Losell is delighted to continue as a major partner for the Swedish SGP. He said: “Norrbil has had a partnership with the local Rospiggarna Speedway Club for several years and we are happy to be involved in the 2nd year of the Swedish SGP at Hallstavik in Roslagen.

The 2018 Norrbil Swedish SGP was a big success with a fantastic show and I am sure it will be a new night to remember again on July 6.

Norrbil is proud to be linked with BSI Speedway and Rospiggarna as title sponsor for the 2019 event.”
