British champion Robert Lambert will get a chance to build on his Warsaw semi-final appearance after being called up for the Slovenian SGP in Krsko on June 1.

The King’s Lynn man steps in for four-time world champion Greg Hancock, who continues his absence from the sport as he cares for wife Jennie while she undergoes treatment for breast cancer in California.

Lambert raced to the Boll Warsaw SGP semi-final last Saturday, scoring eight points, in what was only his second full SGP start.
