World Championship leader Patryk Dudek took advantage of a night at reserve, racing to 12 paid 13 points for Dackarna as they decked near neighbours Vetlanda 54-36 in Malilla on Tuesday.

It was a positive night for the hosts as Maciej Janowski made his first Swedish appearance of the season after recovering from shoulder ligament surgery.

He raced to a handy 11 paid 13 points, while compatriot Piotr Pawlicki picked up 11 paid 12. Norrbil Swedish SGP wild card Oliver Berntzon notched nine.

No-one could match the heroics of Vetlanda talisman Bartosz Zmarzlik, who zoomed to 16 points from six outings with only a Pawlicki and Janowski 5-1 dashing his maximum bid in heat 13. SGP star Artem Laguta managed just two points for the away side.

Elsewhere, former World Under-21 champion Maksym Drabik impressed on 13 paid 14 points for Lejonen as they roared to a 51-39 win away to Masarna.

France star David Bellego hit back for the Avesta team on 10 paid 11, with Antonio Lindback registering eight paid 10.

Danish duo Mikkel Michelsen and Niels-Kristian Iversen piled up points for Piraterna, but it was not enough to save them from a 47-43 loss at home to Vastervik. Michelsen tallied 12 and Iversen added 11 paid 12, but 11 paid 12 from Sweden’s Peter Ljung, 11 from triple world champion Nicki Pedersen and 10 from Krzysztof Buczkowski earned the coastal club victory.

In the day’s other meeting, Przemyslaw Pawlicki picked up 11 points for Smederna as the champions triumphed 48-42 at home to Rospiggarna.

World No.3 Freddie Lindgren weighed in with 10 paid 11 and Andzejs Lebedevs accrued nine paid 10.

In-form Danish racer Rasmus Jensen powered to 11 paid 12 for the Hallstavik club. Andreas Jonsson notched nine, Robert Lambert recorded eight paid nine and Jason Doyle bagged a straight eight.
