Russian rocket Emil Sayfutdinov piled up 12 points for runaway PGE Ekstraliga leaders Leszno as they took a stride closer to sealing top spot by triumphing 47-43 away to Zielona Gora.
The Bulls are five points clear in top spot after seeing off one of their potential play-off opponents, with Sayfutdinov leading the way and ANLAS Czech SGP winner Janusz Kolodziej collecting nine paid 10. Former SGP regular Piotr Pawlicki picked up a straight nine.
Triple world champion Nicki Pedersen topped the Falubaz scoring on 11, while Martin Vaculik added eight paid nine and World Championship leader Patryk Dudek collected seven paid eight.
In the day’s other meeting, former World Under-21 champions Maksym Drabik and Max Fricke both weighed in with 12 points for Wroclaw as they defied Tai Woffinden’s absence to thump Czestochowa 56-34 at the Olympic Stadium.
Drabik bagged 12 paid 14 and Fricke registered 12 paid 13 as Wroclaw stay second in the standings. Jakub Jamrog also impressed on 11 paid 12 and Maciej Janowski raced to 10 paid 11.
Danish star Leon Madsen continued his red-hot form for the Lions on 15 points, but it was a tougher day for Matej Zagar and Freddie Lindgren, who scored six paid seven and five respectively.
