British champion Robert Lambert showed Rospiggarna what they were missing as he racked up 13 paid 14 points for new club Masarna in the Swedish Elitserien on Tuesday.

Lambert made the switch to the Lions after being released by the Hallstavik outfit. And he immediately proved his worth as they beat Masarna 53-37 in Gislaved.

He had no shortage of scoring support as Kacper Woryna tallied 10 paid 12, Krzysztof Kasprzak collected nine paid 10 and Maksym Drabik and Jaroslaw Hampel scored seven paid nine each.

French international David Bellego topped the Masarna scoreboard on 12 paid 13. SGP racer Antonio Lindback scored seven.

Elsewhere, Swedish star Freddie Lindgren stormed to 14 points for Smederna as the Elitserien champions thumped Rospiggarna 53-37 in Hallstavik.

Lindgren dropped just a point from five rides as he warms up for the Monster Energy FIM Speedway of Nations Finals next week in fine style. He was nicely supported by 12 from Danish ace Michael Jepsen Jensen.

Aussie racer Max Fricke notched nine paid 10 for the hosts, but his international team mate Jason Doyle had a rare off-night on three. New signings Viktor Kulakov and Tomas H Jonasson accrued eight each.

In the day's other meeting, Aussie ace Jack Holder roared to a 13 paid 15-point maximum as table-topping Vastervik cruised to a 58-31 win at home to Piraterna.

Danish star Peter Kildemand was just a point short of a maximum on 14, while Nicki Pedersen added 11 and Swedish international Peter Ljung registered eight paid 11.

Denmark's Mikkel Michelsen tallied 10 for the Pirates, while Niels-Kristian Iversen accrued eight.
