Polish star Janusz Kolodziej raced to a 14 paid 15-point maximum as champions Leszno trounced Torun 64-26 to confirm their relegation from the PGE Ekstraliga on Friday.

Torun’s fate was sealed as the Bulls charged to an emphatic win, which puts them a point away from being certain of top spot.

Kolodziej followed up his Betard Wroclaw SGP final appearance last Saturday with a flawless display, while his SGP rival Emil Sayfutdinov also went unbeaten on 11 paid 12 from four – a figure matched by Piotr Pawlicki.

Rune Holta was Torun’s top performer on nine. Jason Doyle recorded five paid six, while Danish rider Niels-Kristian Iversen failed to score.

In the day’s other meeting, Czestochowa sealed a play-off place as Freddie Lindgren inspired them to a 52-38 win at home to Grudziadz.

The Swede scored 14 points – dropping just one – while Matej Zagar also impressed on 12 paid 13 and Leon Madsen added 11 paid 12.

Russian racer Artem Laguta led the Grudziadz scorechart on 10 points, with Antonio Lindback adding eight paid 10.
