EKSTRALIGA | KOLODZIEJ MAX AS LESZNO TAKE CHARGE

Janusz Kolodziej rocked Wroclaw for the third time this season after scorching to a 15-point maximum as Leszno put one hand on the title.

Polish champion Janusz Kolodziej rocked Wroclaw for the third time this season after scorching to a 15-point maximum as Leszno put one hand on the PGE Ekstraliga trophy on Friday.

Kolodziej finished fourth in the Betard Wroclaw SGP on August 3 and also racked up 13 points when Leszno visited in a regular league match on August 25.

And he showed his liking for the Olympic Stadium again in the play-off final, first leg as he went unbeaten over five rides to inspire the Bulls to victory.

SGP title contender Emil Sayfutdinov raced to 13 paid 14 and Dominik Kubera added eight paid nine.

Former World Under-21 champion Maksym Drabik was Wroclaw’s top scorer on 13, but it was a below-par night for their big guns as Maciej Janowski added eight paid nine and Tai Woffinden tallied five paid seven. Vaclav Milik failed to score from one outing.

The second leg takes place at Leszno’s Alfred Smoczyk Stadium on September 22 – the day after the Adrian Flux British SGP in Cardiff.
