Leon Madsen roared to a 15-point maximum as Czestochowa blazed to a 57-33 lead over Zielona Gora in the battle for PGE Ekstraliga bronze on Sunday.

The FIM Speedway World Championship contender defied his injury issues to produce a perfect afternoon for the Lions, with Freddie Lindgren also unbeaten on 12 paid 15 points.

Polish star Adrian Miedzinski tallied 11 paid 13 and SGP regular Matej Zagar added 10 paid 11.

Falubaz hero Patryk Dudek was their top scorer on 11, while Martin Vaculik accrued nine paid 10.

But the visitors are badly missing injured triple world champion Nicki Pedersen in the play-off as they look set to end 2019 empty-handed.
