GORZOW SGP DRAW | OUR HEATS TO WATCH

Three of SGP 2020’s top four face off in heat eight of Enea Gorzow FIM Speedway Grand Prix round three on Friday.

10 / 09 / 2020, 15:30

Three of SGP 2020’s top four face off in heat eight of Enea Gorzow FIM Speedway Grand Prix round three on Friday.

World Championship leader Maciej Janowski meets Wroclaw team mate Tai Woffinden and Swedish star Freddie Lindgren in their second race of the weekend, with Russian ace Emil Sayfutdinov completing a stellar line-up.

Polish heavyweights Janowski and Bartosz Zmarzlik will clash in race 14, which also sees world No.2 Leon Madsen and Slovenian star Matej Zagar come to the tapes.

The current SGP top two Janowski and Laguta have been drawn into heat 11, which also sees them face Patryk Dudek and Max Fricke.

Laguta is set for a tough start to his evening when he comes up against Woffinden, Madsen and Mikkel Michelsen in race three.

Janowski opens his night in heat two against former Gorzow SGP winners Martin Vaculik and Jason Doyle, as well as Edward Jancarz Stadium track specialist Niels-Kristian Iversen.

Zmarzlik gets his night underway in heat four, which pits him against Lindgren, as well as Fricke and Antonio Lindback.

The opening race sees wild card Anders Thomsen make his first SGP appearance in four years against Sayfutdinov, Dudek and Zagar.

Saturday’s draw hands world champion Zmarzlik a testing heat 11 against this year’s current top two, Janowski and Laguta, with Michelsen thrown into the mix for good measure.

Zmarzlik also faces a difficult end to his heats in race 18 as he tackles five-time Gorzow SGP finalist Woffinden, Doyle and Lindback.

Janowski and Woffinden meet in heat eight, where they are joined by former Gorzow winner Zagar and Dudek.

Woffy has a hard heat 15 in prospect as he comes up against Russian duo Laguta and Sayfutdinov, as well as the in-form Thomsen.

A stacked opening race sees Laguta meet Madsen, Doyle and Dudek, before Janowski gets his night started against double Gorzow SGP winner Vaculik, Sayfutdinov and Lindback in race two.

Thomsen gets his night started with a difficult assignment against Gorzow team mate Zmarzlik, Lindgren and Zagar in heat three. And Woffinden kicks off his Saturday night against Iversen, Fricke and Michelsen in race four.
