Russian racer Emil Sayfutdinov has confirmed he will be back with PGE Ekstraliga champions Leszno in 2021.

There were fears the world No.3 would leave the club earlier this year as the coronavirus crisis hit Polish speedway, forcing clubs to slash wage bills.

But Sayfutdinov stuck with the Bulls and has now confirmed he will lead them into the 2021 in a post on Facebook this afternoon.

He wrote: “#BullSquad 2021 Dear Fans, this is fantastic news for you and for us - - EmilRacing89 on board #KSUL.”

The Salavat-born racer, who lives in Bydgoszcz, currently leads the PGE Ekstraliga average charts on 2.547 points per race as Leszno bid for a fourth straight league title.

They host Zielona Gora on Sunday in the play-off semi-final, second leg, holding a 46-44 from the first match.
