Former FIM Speedway Grand Prix star Tomas H Jonasson is on his way to Piraterna for 2021.

THJ makes the move from Rospiggarna and joins Great Britain international Adam Ellis and Danish racer Jonas Seifert-Salk in the side.

The Vetlanda-born racer can’t wait to make his debut for the Swedish Pirates next season.

He told the club’s website: "It's a euphoric feeling going through the body right now. Piraterna is a club I always thought highly of and wanted to race for. So I'm very happy to be a part of the Pirates next year.”

Team manager Daniel Davidsson added: “We are very pleased to have Tomas, a rider who raced in the GP as recently as 2015. There is a lot of talent and potential. He also enjoys the track here.”
