HUCKENBECK IN HALLSTAVIK RETURN

Rospiggarna boss Peter Jansson hailed team player Kai Huckenbeck as the German ace completed a return to Hallstavik for 2021.

Rospiggarna boss Peter Jansson hailed team player Kai Huckenbeck as the German ace completed a return to Hallstavik for 2021.

The former German SGP wild card impressed in this year’s shortened Swedish Elitserien season.

Jansson is backing him to continue progressing and lift the team on and off the track in 2021.

He told the club’s website: “It feels good to be able to continue working with Kai Huckenbeck at Rospiggarna during the coming season.

“Kai is a positive and nice guy who is important to the team and contributes to a good team spirit, which is good for cohesion and harmony in the camp. He scores his seven to 10 points in every meeting and I think that will rise next year and make 2021 an even better season.

“He is a good team rider who stands up for the other riders on the track. I am convinced that we will have a very good team in 2021 and we are now continuing to work on team building.”

Elsewhere, French international David Bellego has extended his stay with champions Masarna into next year. He joins Philip Hellstrom-Bangs in the squad.

Former SGP star Peter Ljung returns to Vetlanda. The Swedish international will be keen to bounce back from a campaign blighted by the frightening fall he suffered in the club’s clash with Dackarna in August. He joins young newcomer Lucas Woentin in the squad.

And Vastervik have completed the signing of Vadim Tarasenko. The Russian played a pivotal role in Masarna’s charge to Elitserien gold this year.
