Danish ace Peter Kildemand has extended his stay with Swedish side Piraterna, raising doubts over his return to Belle Vue for 2021.
The former FIM Speedway Grand Prix star enters his fourth campaign in Motala after sticking with the Pirates through their shortened coronavirus-hit season this year.
Peter was our best rider on average during the season. He is a great guy who fits well into the team, and has the capacity to win every heat he goes into.

Kildemand will also be competing for Gniezno in the Polish First Division and usually rides for Fjelsted in the Danish Speedway League.
With First and Second Division stars in Poland only allowed to race in two other national leagues, this could rule him out of the Aces side unless Kildemand doesn’t race in his homeland or the PZM restriction is eased.
Piraterna boss Daniel Davidsson is delighted to have the hard-charging star back in Motala. He told the club’s website: “Peter was our best rider on average during the season. He is a great guy who fits well into the team, and has the capacity to win every heat he goes into.”
Elsewhere, champions Masarna have revealed that Swedish international Kim Nilsson is leaving Avesta for 2021.
A statement on the Masarna official website read: “Kim came to us before the 2016 season and in these five years at the club he has developed into a superb rider at home.
“To continue to develop, Kim now chooses to move on. Even though it is a tough message for us, we understand the decision and there are no hard feelings between us and Kim.
“We thank Kim for these years; wish him all the best for the future and Kim is of course welcome back at Masarna again!”
