Former FIM Speedway Grand Prix duo Patryk Dudek and Piotr Pawlicki will get two chances to book their places in SGP 2022 after Polish bosses selected them for the World Championship qualifiers on June 19.

Dudek and Pawlicki both line up in the Speedway European Championship, which gets underway at Bydgoszcz on Saturday. The winner of the four-round series earns a guaranteed spot in next year’s SGP series.

They could also earn SGP 2022 qualification via the World Championship qualifiers, with both men heading to the semi-final at Italian track Terenzano.

The top three or four riders will earn places at the GP Challenge in Zarnovica, Slovakia on August 21, where three spots in SGP 2022 will be up for grabs.

Former SGP regular Janusz Kolodziej, winner of last night’s Polish Championship Semi-Final in Krosno with a 15-point maximum, has also been selected for the qualifiers and heads to the semi in Gorican, Croatia.

In-form Pawel Przedpelski is rewarded for a stunning start to 2021 with a place in the Nagyhalasz qualifier in Hungary, while Tobiasz Musielak heads to Great Britain for the Glasgow round.

The full field for all four qualifiers is yet to be revealed by the FIM.
