KVECH HANDED PRAGUE WILD CARD

Czech teenager Jan Kvech serves as Czech Republic SGP wild card in Prague.

18 / 06 / 2021, 11:00

Czech shooting star Jan Kvech has been named as wild card for the opening two rounds of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series in Prague on July 16 and 17.

The 2020 European Under-19 champion lines up in the famous No.16 race jacket as he continues his rise in the sport.

Kvech is no stranger to the Marketa Stadium as he races for Prague in the Czech league, as well as competing for Zielona Gora in Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga.

The 19-year-old made his SGP debut as a track reserve at round five of the 2020 series in Prague, taking one ride.

But he will be guaranteed 10 on Czech Republic SGP weekend as he takes on the sport’s biggest stars.

Kvech is joined in the Prague line-up by track reserves Daniel Klima and Petr Chlupac, who don the No.17 and No.18 race jackets respectively for Friday’s round one. They then switch numbers for Saturday’s round two with Chlupac at No.17 and Klima at No.18.
