World champion Bartosz Zmarzlik continued his strong form going into SGP 2021 by retaining his Golden Helmet crown in Zielona Gora on Monday.

The Gorzow man topped the podium on 13 points at the home of his club’s biggest rivals.

Two of Poland’s in-form men joined him on the rostrum with Janusz Kolodziej beating Pawel Przedpelski in a run-off for second place. The pair tied on 11 points.

Czestochowa shooting star Jakub Miskowiak and Gorzow racer Szymon Wozniak raced to 10 apiece, while Falubaz legend Piotr Protasiewicz and former world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel both notched nine.

Former SGP regular Patryk Dudek accrued eight points on his home track.

World No.4 Maciej Janowski missed the meeting as he continues his recovery from a hand injury.
