European champion Robert Lambert raced to 11 paid 13 points for Lejonen as they sealed victory over Vastervik in a last-heat decider on Tuesday.

The Brit got the better of visiting duo Viktor Kulakov and Artem Laguta in a vital heat 15 to claim a 46-44 Bauhaus Elitserien win for the Lions – their second victory of 2021.

His fellow FIM Speedway Grand Prix stars backed him up nicely with Poland’s Krzysztof Kasprzak notching nine paid 10 and Oliver Berntzon accruing eight. Rohan Tungate raced to seven paid nine.

Laguta starred for Vastervik on 13 paid 14, while his compatriot Kulakov collected a straight 13 and Vadim Tarasenko scored 11 paid 12.

Elsewhere, German international Kai Huckenbeck roared to a 15-point maximum for Rospiggarna as they saw off a Jason Doyle-led Dackarna side 48-42 in Hallstavik. Huckenbeck was aided by 11 paid 13 from Finnish racer Timo Lahti and 11 from Polish star Adrian Miedzinski.

Doyle racked up 14 paid 15 from seven outings for the visitors, with Rasmus Jensen recording 13 paid 14.

Swedish racer Pontus Aspgren stormed to 15 paid 16 points as league leaders Smederna claimed a 47-43 win away to Piraterna. Danish rider Michael Jepsen Jensen also impressed on 12, while Kacper Woryna bagged 10 paid 11 and Andzejs Lebedevs added eight paid nine.

Polish rider Oskar Fajfer led the Pirates scoring on 10 paid 11, with Tomas H Jonasson bagging nine and Jakub Jamrog, Adam Ellis and Thomas Jorgensen all contributing seven to their side’s tally.

In the day’s other meeting, 2012 world champion Chris Holder collected 12 points for Indianerna as they won 47-43 in Vetlanda.

SGP star Max Fricke accrued 11 points, while Jonas Jeppesen racked up 11 paid 13. Rune Holta starred on 16 for Vetlanda, with Dominik Kubera adding 11.
