FIM Speedway Grand Prix World Championship leader Maciej Janowski faces a testing start to Friday’s Betard Wroclaw SGP round three.

This weekend’s draw for the Olympic Stadium double-header has been revealed and it sees home hero Janowski start his night in race three against nearest rival Artem Laguta, with Magic in red and his Wroclaw team mate in blue.

They are joined at the tapes by another Wroclaw star, wild card Gleb Chugunov, with Slovak ace Martin Vaculik completing the line-up.

Things don’t get any easier for Janowski in heat six, as he starts in blue with world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik on his inside in red. The Poles also have Wroclaw icon Tai Woffinden and his GB team mate Robert Lambert for company.

Laguta faces a stern test in heat 14 when he comes up against Wroclaw colleague Woffinden, as well as international team mate Emil Sayfutdinov and Slovenian star Matej Zagar.

Woffinden opens the night in race one against 2017 world champion Jason Doyle, Leon Madsen and Krzysztof Kasprzak.

Heat two features Danish champion Anders Thomsen as he takes on Lambert, Zagar and Oliver Berntzon, before Zmarzlik, Sayfutdinov, Freddie Lindgren and former Wroclaw rider Max Fricke meet in heat four.

Saturday’s draw has thrown together a mouth-watering opening race as SGP 2020 top three Zmarzlik, Woffinden and Lindgren face off, with Fricke completing a stellar line-up.

Another race to watch will be heat 17, which sees Wroclaw’s big guns Janowski, Woffinden and Laguta clash, with Doyle also at the tapes for good measure.

Janowski also lines up in heat 16 for an epic, all-Polish affair, also featuring Zmarzlik, Kasprzak and Chugunov.

Magic gets his Saturday night underway in heat four against Lambert, Zagar and Berntzon, while Laguta opens his round four in heat three, facing Madsen, Thomsen and Chugunov. Heat two features third-placed Sayfutdinov, as well as Vaculik, Doyle and Kasprzak.
