Great Britain racer Tai Woffinden roared to 13 points for Dackarna as they booked their place in the Bauhaus Elitserien semi-finals with a 56-34 victory at home to Lejonen on Tuesday.
The Malilla men won the quarter final tie 104-76 on aggregate after triumphing 48-42 at the first leg in Gislaved last week.
Woffinden dropped just two points to an opponent, while double Swedish champion Jacob Thorssell also starred on 12 paid 14 and Aussie icon Jason Doyle tallied 12.
Rasmus Jensen racked up nine paid 10, while Polish SGP star Maciej Janowski collected five paid eight.
Former Aussie champion Rohan Tungate was Lejonen’s top scorer on 10 paid 11, with 2020 European champion Robert Lambert notching nine. SGP rider Oliver Berntzon registered three paid four.
In the other quarter final contest, Swedish star Kim Nilsson racked up 12 points for Rospiggarna as they progressed to the semis with a 47-43 victory away to Vetlanda.
Nilsson raced to two wins and three seconds as his side won the tie 95-85 on aggregate. Finnish international Timo Lahti added 10 paid 11, while Kai Huckenbeck notched nine paid 11. SGP 2022 qualifier Patryk Dudek accrued eight points.
Polish rider Tomasz Gapinski was Vetlanda’s best performer on 13, with Rune Holta picking up 10 paid 13.
Rospiggarna host table-topping Smederna in the first leg of their Bauhaus Elitserien play-off semi-final tie next Tuesday, with Dackarna welcoming near neighbours Vastervik. The return legs take place 24 hours later.
